Our goal is to give the top players in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin an opportunity to play with and against the best players in the Upper Midwest.  We have been quite successful.  Our alumni have regularly made their varsity teams as freshmen and sophomores.  Several have gone on to Junior hockey in the United States Hockey League including Ryan Hill (1988), Alex McLean (1990), Tim Smith (1990), and Adam Krause (1991).  Others have had the honor of playing for the National Team Development program in Ann Arbor including Derek Forbort (1992), Gage Ausmus (1995), and Keaton Thompson (1995).

Our first alumni are now making their way onto collegiate rosters including Derek Stauber, Pat Dalbec (1991), and Hill at Wisconsin-Superior, McLean at Ohio State, Smith, Krause, and Chad Huttel (1988)  at Minnesota-Duluth and Forbort at North Dakota.  In addition, Forbort was a 2010 Los Angeles Kings' first round NHL draft pick.  Recently, Ausmus (1995), Thompson (1995), and Jake Bischoff (1994) committed to the University of Denver, North Dakota, and Minnesota respectively.

In addition, Connor Valesano (1995) and Karson Kuhlman (1995) were USHL draft picks last spring, while Christopher Wilkie (1996) was a Western Hockey League pick.  As you see, our teams are stocked with talented players who are now plying their trade across the United States.
